Dennis is an award-winning designer and illustrator who has extensive experience in advertising and publishing. He started his career with drawing Scooby-Doo and Super Friends for Hanna Barbera.
He then switched gears and spent time working at several ad agencies in Southern California as art director and creative director – with clients in high tech, banking and communications – both large and small, including: Metromedia Technologies, Gannett Outdoor, Western Digital, Qualcomm, Rockwell Collins, Hitachi, Union Bank of California, Banamex, UC Irvine and Utah State University.
Then Dennis moved into publishing where he was creative director for Scotsman Guide Media, and monthly contributor of many editorial illustrations plus hands-on designer for both the Residential and Commercial editions of Scotsman Guide.
Most recently he was designer and illustrator at Gibbs Smith Education, where he worked on K-12 publications remotely from his home office.
Dennis lives and works just outside Tucson, Arizona with his wife and not-so small family of rescued dogs and cats. Throughout the years he has volunteered both as a foster parent and as a designer/art director, creating advertising and marketing materials for local animal rescue groups.
